Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026
This policy explains what personal information DartTrader collects and how we use it, consistent with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you sign in with a provider (e.g. Google or Microsoft) we receive your name, email address and profile image. We also store what you create on the site: your profile (name, area), listings, images, and messages. Basic technical data (such as IP address) is processed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
To operate your account, publish your listings, deliver messages and notifications, review and moderate content, and keep the marketplace safe. We don't sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Other users see your public listings, your display name and messages you send them. We use service providers to host and deliver the site (for example cloud hosting, Cloudflare, and — if enabled — an email provider for notifications), who process data on our behalf.
Your choices and data
You can edit your profile at any time and control browser and email notifications. You can delete your account from your profile — this schedules your account and listings for permanent removal after a short grace period, during which you can reactivate. You may request access to or correction of your information by contacting us.
